Leading badminton players from Maharashtra will be seen in action during the Rs 2.68 lakh prize-money Yonex Sunrise Manoj Ramchandran Memorial State Open Badminton Tournament -2026, organized by the North Indian Association & Padukone Shuttlers’ Academy, Mumbai and conducted under the aegis of the Greater Mumbai Badminton Association & Maharashtra Badminton Association, from March 26 to 29, 2026. Matches will be played at the North Indian Association & Matunga Gymkhana courts.

This Competition will be conducted for Men’s & Women’s singles, Boys’ and Girls’ Under-15 singles and Boys’ & Girls’ Under-11 singles.
The Men’s & Women’s will be competing for the winners’ cash award of Rs 41,000 each, while the runner-up will get a prize of Rs 31,000 each. The third and fourth place winners will get Rs 21,000 and Rs 11,000 respectively.
The prizes for the Boys’ and Girls’ Under-15 singles category is Rs 8,500 for the winners, runner-up Rs 5,500 and the third place winners will receive Rs 3,500. The prizes for the Under-15 category is sponsored by Sandeep Thacker in memory of his late son, Nihar Thacker.
The winners in Boys’ and Girls’ Under-11 singles events will take home a cash prize of Rs 6,000 each while the runner-ups and third place winner will get Rs 4,000 and Rs 2,500 each.
The last date to submit entries is March 20, 2026. Entries along with the entry fees of Rs 1000 for each event, will only be accepted through the official website: www.mbasso.in.
