Magzmumbai met this cheerful multitalented woman, to know how she finds time to do this creative work. After paying a visit to her house, we were welcomed by her art work right from the passage of her house entry. Having an advantage of twin flats owned by her two sons, Samants have that door passage for their exclusive use. And they have decorated this place with beautiful art work done by Ms. Sheetal Samant.

Mural Art by Ms. Sheetal

The mural art displayed exactly opposite their entrance, next to the lift is something special, as it has been done with all waste materials like used spoons, old locks, keys, coins, safety pins, combs etc. And it looks simply beautiful with touch up work done with paint and polish. There are other art works like Warli art, Madhuban paintings also displayed in the passage. But, the best painting art you will find in the drawing room and bedrooms to add beauty to the interior design.

For all this creative work, she finds time during afternoon hours, when her grandson is in the school. She has presented many paintings to her close relatives and friends during their Griha Pravesh ceremony. And, this has turned out to be an ideal gift for the occasion.

Ms. Sheetal is encouraged by her husband and other family members, who are all praise for her creative art. At the same time, Ms. Sheetal communicates a lot with her grandson, who is taking active interest in music. What we observed is that she inspires many senior citizens to keep themselves engaged in some activity. It’s high time, she exhibits her art work through an exhibition. Someone has rightly said,   “The purpose of life is not to be only happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
