Shruti Joshi’s Elite TT Academy inaugurated in Dombivali


Renowned Table Tennis player Shruti Kanade Joshi launched her own Table tennis academy- Elite TT Academy in Dombivali, recently. This exclusive Table tennis hall on the first floor at the Savlaram Kreeda Sankul, to accommodate 8 TT tables was inaugurated by Kalyan – Dombivali Member of Parliament Dr. Shrikant Shinde recently. Shruti, who is the Coach of Girls U-19 and Youth Girls team of Maharashtra , had returned from Chennai the same day with Gold medal for Maharashtra team.

Shruti had also won a Bronze medal in Women’s doubles 40+ section last month at the World Masters Table tennis Championship, Muscat. And therefore, it was time for this celebration too. Shruti along with other medal winners from Maharashtra was felicitated by Dr. Shrikant Shinde and other dignitaries from Kalyan- Dombivali like, Mr. Deepesh Mhatre, Sabhapati, Sthai Samiti and former KDMC Mayor Ms. Vinita Rane. Shruti was also felicitated by Hon. Minister of Sports, Govt of India Mr.Anurag Thakur, during his recent visit to Kalyan- Dombivali.

For the past four years, Shruti was working very hard to start her own academy and today her dream has come true. The academy is well equipped with quality tables and the best flooring required for this game. This academy will help little children from Kalyan and Dombivali area aspiring to become champions of future, to receive the best training in TT from Shruti and her team.
