Bharat Dabholkar’s film ‘The Power’ is due for release on Zee 5 on 14th January 2021. Produced by Vijay Galani and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, this film has actor Vidut Jhamwal in the lead. Bharat has played an important character in this film and in one scene he slaps Vidut, perhaps in the similar manner Dilip Kumar slaps Anupam Kher in ‘Karma’. However, in the next scene, Vidyut shoots everybody but as a revenge of the slap, breaks Bharat’s arm, leg and neck, which ends his role.
Recalling his experience during the shooting of this scene on social media, Bharat says, “Vidyut came up to me and said that I looked so muscular and tough. So , he suggested that we have a good fight. And I told me not to give me all that, as he was a bloody kalayaripayattu master and can thrash me with both his hands tied behind his back. And asked him to be kind. He laughed and suggested me to forget the action director and did the scene smoothly without many takes. As always they didn’t have a stunt body double for me, so I had to do the entire sequence myself.”
