Famous Playwright and Theatre director Manjul Bharadwaj  feels that the theatre is relevant to the context of the society and also owes a social responsibility . It is just not an art for art’s sake, but one that caters to human needs and provides itself as a platform of expression.Ched Chad kyun

For the past few years, Manjul has presented many thought provoking plays, through his Experimental Theatre Foundation. His latest ‘Unheard Sounds of Universe’ is already creating waves, with its socially relevant timely subject. Incidentally, Manjul has also presented another thought provoking subject  of ‘sexual harassment to women’, through his play ‘Ched Chad Kyon’ .

Three students of Manjul Sir,  namely  Ashwini Nandedkar, Sayli Pawaskar & Komal Khamkar are working very hard to stage this play at different colleges in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai, so as to make colleges a safety zone for girls and boys. According to them, they have planned to stage this play with the help of artistes from different colleges and it will be presented on the same day and same time , at different venues.  Many colleges have come forward for this just cause, which will not only help to create awareness; but would also empower  students to strongly oppose such anti social activities, happening around.
