COLORS’ magnum opus show ‘Dastaan-E-Mohabbat – Salim Anarkali’ is going to witness a major twist and turn in the epic love story of charming Prince Salim and beautiful courtesan Anarkali. Salim’s step mother and Mughal Empress Rukhaiyaa Begum has plotted an evil strategy where she plants some goons to abduct Anarkali. Salim and Anarkali both fall pray to this trap and Salim leaves the Kingdom to save Anarkali.
To save themselves from the goons Salim and Anarkali take shelter in an anonymous village and hide their identity. For this particular sequence, the duo will be seen in a gypsy look (Banjara look). Sonarika Bhadhoria aka Anarkali will be seen in the authentic maroon ghagra and Black Dupatta while Shaheer Sheikhaka Salim will be seen in a white and red coti jacket with a dhoti. The trap proved to be a boon in disguise for the couple to spend some time with each other. Will this boon turn into the curse again? How will Emperor Akbar react to Salim’s actions?
