Films Division is celebrating the centenary of legendary film maker Satyajit Ray ( 1921-1992) by organizing ‘Masterstrokes’ an online film festival . This festival will be showcasing rare documentaries and a television film made by the master film maker alongside films on him and his work, from 2nd May to 6th May 2020.
The films are being showcased on Films Division website and its Youtube channel during this period. Some of the acclaimed films being screened include ‘Inner eye’, ‘Sadgati’ ( TV film based on short story by Munshi Premchand) , ‘Rabindranath Tagoe by Satyajit Ray and ‘Satyajit Ray’ by Shyam Benegal and ‘Ray’by Gautam Ghose.
