I, Me and Myself
As a long tiring day flashes by in a jiffy,
Retreating, I seek solace armed with my coffee.
Attempts to quieten a throbbing head and a racing pulse,
Ruminating on the experiences that shape my impulse.
Erasing the turmoil, dissipating the stress,
Learning to let go and find happiness amid duress.
Facing my fears, I analyze closely held secrets in depth,
Laughing silently at my awkwardness, sometimes being inept!
Knowing too well that some situations are beyond my control,
Mocking my tough exterior, have I let them drill a hole?
Sipping on my coffee I start a meaningful conversation with myself,
Locking out the whole world, there’s just I, Me and Myself!
