Versatile actor Kiran Karmarkar who shot into fame with his character of Om through popular longest running TV serial ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’ 18 years ago, was later seen in variety of roles through many TV srials and stage plays. He also made his presence felt through small but important roles in many Hindi films. His characters in Marathi films like ‘Family Katta’, ‘Pune 52’, ‘Bhatukli’ , ‘Arohi – Goshta Tighanchi’,’Aamhi Doghi’ and ‘Kshanokshani’ not only turned out to be memorable , but also invited the attention of one and all. In fact, his performance in ‘Kshanokshani’ brought him state award. His last Marathi serial ‘Rudram’ also offered him a very strong character, though his entry was late in this serial.

Kiran has now returned to small screen with entertaining ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ on Sony TV , which is aired between Monday and Friday at 8 pm. In this serial, Kiran plays the most important character of father of Yogi the lead character played by actor Mudit Nayar. There is plenty of scope for talented actor in Kiran into this serial and the director has used his potential very well, to make this serial more humorous. ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ is actually the story of Yogi, a hearing-impaired young man, whose spirited way of handling his own disability and the acceptance of the same by his joint family is certainly inspiring.
