Indian Oils’ Radhika Sawant rallied to down Anita Nayak 25-16, 15-25, 25-8 to win the women’s carrom final of the Poinsur Gymkhana’s 42nd North Mumbai Krida Mahotsav- 2017, held at Poinsur Gymkhana here today.

Likewise, the men’s final between Shahbaz Shaikh and Nadeem Siddiqui, turned out to be quite an engrossing contest with the former winning at 25-11, 15-25, 21-12 to for the coveted trophy and a cash prize of Rs 10,000.. Earlier, in these semifinals, Shahbaz was stretched by Sandeep Dighe before making the last four event with a 25-11, 15-25, 25-12.While Nadeem Siddiqui, too, was given tough fight by Rashid Sayyed before Nadeem was through with 25-15, 13-25, 25-11 win.
Winners in the other age groups were: B-U-18: Irfan Mansuri – . G-U-18: Nikita Gupta (PG). B—14: Umang Majithia. B-U-12: Neil Mestry (PG).
