For the third year in a row, Mumbai Police Cityriders will be going for coveted Mitsui Shoji T20 League title as they take on the defending champions Ghatkopar Jets in the final tomorrow at Police Gymkhana ground,,Marine Lines.
The feature of the Ghatkopar side is that the legendary Sri Lankan fast bowler Chamindfa Vaas will don their colours and will act as their mentor. Ghatkopar Jets had a mixed day during the double leg league phase as they finished third, but their victory over strong favourites Bandra Heroes in the knockoutd semifinals , gave them added boost. But the Cityriders have some of the Mumbai current and ex- Ranji players in their ranks, they expect to turn the tables on the Ghatkopar outfit, who will be having players like Parag Khanapurkar, Prithivi Shaw, Karan Nandy, Ajinkya Belose, Akashar Shaikh and Gaurish Jadhav .
