16 year old Ira Jadhav delivered an outstanding performance in the Women’s U19 T20 Trophy Elite against Rajasthan, scoring 68 Runs off 43 Balls. With this performance, she has questioned all those WPL Cricket League team owners, as to why she went unnoticed in the last season. Last year, Ira also scored an unbeaten 346 for Mumbai-U-19 in a 50 over game.

It may be recalled that 2 years ago, Ira smashed an unbeaten 151 runs and then picked up two wickets for 22 runs to steer Glorious CC to an emphatic 201-run victory against Sporting Union Club in fourth round ‘B’ Division match of the Mumbai Cricket Association organized MCA Women’s League 2024 and played at the New Hind CC ground, Mumbai. Magzmumbai had covered this match and expected her to be a bright prospect for Indian Women’s team in near future.
