Unbeaten MGMO (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Olympic Swimming) Pool from Dadar, emerged champions in the, Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatics Association organized three-Team Water –Polo League finals at Pransukhlal Mafatlal Hindu Bath Swimming Pool .
MGMO opened their campaign against hosts PM Hindu Bath as they beat them 11-10 in a thrilling encounter. In a close match with high energy performance from both the teams it was the goalkeeper of MGMO Guruprasad Khaire who saved the day for MGMO and along with Karan Shukla. In the second match host PMHB team got the better of Police swimming pool beating them 15 goals to 10.
With MGMO and PMHB both having won one match each all eyes were on the 3rd match MGMO vs Police Swimming pool. MGMO beat Police swimming pool with a score of 11 goals to 9. Karan Shukla, who was instrumental in the victory for MGMO in both the league matches was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
