TSTTA Players impress at the 1st State Ranking TT in Nagpur

The Suburban Table Tennis Association players from Mumbai, who recently participated in the 1st State Ranking TT tournament of the season in Nagpur last week, gave an impressive performance. These Mumbai Suburban players have won 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 6 Bronze medals, to prove their supremacy in this tournament.

Jash Modi who made a good beginning by winning the Gold in Men’s Singles event, was followed by Sagar Kasture, who bagged a Bronze in the same event. Ananya Chande who entered the finals of Women’s Singles bagged the first Silver for TSTTA in this event.

Three more Gold medals were bagged by TSTTA’s Myraa Sangelkar in the Girls U-15 event, besides bagging a Silver in Girls U-17 Singles. Param Bhiwandkar lifted the third Gold for TSTTA, when he won the Boys U-15 title. To add cherry on the top, little Dhadkan Tanna lifted the fourth Gold for TSTTA, when she won the finals of Girls U-11 event.

Two more Silver medals for TSTTA were lifted by Arnav Kshirsagar ( Boys U19) & Ahan Gosar ( Boys U-15); while the remaining Bronze medals were won by Aakanksh Sahoo( Boys U-19), Raghav Mahajan ( Boys U-15), Aarav Vora ( Boys U-15) and Sampada Bhiwandkar ( Women’s Singles).

Reacting on this success of Mumbai Suburaban players, TSTTA Hon. Secretary Mr. Yogesh Desai has congratulated all the medal winners and thanked their parents and Coaches for their motivation. He further announced the 2nd TSTTA-WCG 3 Star Ranking TT tournament , which is scheduled between 9th to 12th July 2026 at Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana, Santacruz ( West).
