Amongst this week’s major OTT releases, Jio Hotstar will be offering Hindi romantic film ‘Chand Mera Dil’ and a telugu action –comedy film ‘ Maa Inti Bangaaram’( which means The Gold of our Home).
Ananya & Lakshya in ‘Chand Mera Dil’
While ‘Chand Mera Dil’ directed by Vivek Soni and co-written by Soni and Tushar Paranjape. It stars Ananya Panday and Lakshya in the lead role; stars renowned actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead along with Gulshan Devaiah and Diganth Manchale. ‘Chand Mera Dil’ was released in theatres on 22 May 2026 and received mixed-to-negative response; but, ‘ Maa Inti Bangaaram’ when released in theatres in June 2026, officially made history as the highest-grossing female-led Telugu film, surpassing ‘Rudhramadevi’.

On Zee 5 you will find another Telugu thriller ‘Transfer Trimurthulu’ , which revolves around a honest Police constable. It is a comeback film for Vaddee Naveen and stars Rashi Singh, Adukalam Naren and Shilpa Tulaskar in lead roles. And Zee5 also offers ‘The Devil’ – a 2025 Kannada Political actin thriller, which features Darshan in double role with the support of Rachana Rai, Mahesh Manjrekar Achyuth Kumar, Sharmeila Mandre, Roger Narayan, Shobhraj and Srinivas Prabhu.
Netflix will present a 2026 Telugu language period sports action film ‘Peddi’ , with Ram Charan in titular role along with Shiva Rajkumar, Janhavi Kapoor & Jagapathi Babu. So, coming Friday, OTT will offer a good choice from among the films mentioned above.
