Ansh, Nirupama top seeds in Avaada Otters Squash

Uttarakhand’s Ansh Tripathi and Maharashtra’s Nirupama Dubey have been named the top seeds in the men’s and women’s main draws respectively for the Avaada-Otters Club All-India Squash Tournament 2026, which begins on Monday at the Otters Club in Bandra.

Twenty-year-old Ansh heads the men’s field ahead of Madhya Pradesh’s Adarsh Bandoda, while Tamil Nadu’s Pooja Arthi R. is seeded second behind Nirupama in the women’s draw.

The six-day tournament has attracted 558 players from across the country and will feature competition in 16 categories across men, women, boys and girls sections.

Organisers expect the event to showcase some of India’s emerging squash talent alongside established players, with matches set to be played through the week at the Bandra venue.
