The historic grounds of Shivaji Park Gymkhana (SPG) have nurtured several legendary male cricketers who have represented the Indian cricket team and brought glory to the nation. Carrying forward this glorious legacy and opening new avenues for women’s cricket, Shivaji Park Gymkhana is organising an exclusive Cricket Selection Trials Camp for women above 15 years of age.
The initiative aims to identify promising female cricketers and provide them with quality coaching, professional guidance and a platform to showcase their talent and progress towards competitive cricket.
Selected players will be offered scholarships and free, high-quality cricket training for the upcoming season, commencing on 16 November 2026. Furthermore, selected and eligible players will get an opportunity to represent Shivaji Park Gymkhana in A Division cricket matches, subject to applicable eligibility criteria and selection rules. Eligible players will also have an opportunity to participate in Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) tournaments, in accordance with the association’s rules and regulations.
