Jyena Surya played a stellar role in helping Mumbai Snipers overcome South Mumbai Maniacs 39-37 (HT: 15-12) in a closely contested Girls’ U-13 match of the Olympia Sports & Events organised 1st Basketball Development League (BDL), Mumbai edition and played at the VIBGYOR High School courts, Goregaon, West on Thursday.

The BDL is conducted under the auspices of the North Mumbai District Basketball Association (NMDBA).
Jyena the livewire in Snipers attack top-scored with 24 points which steered the team to victory. South Mumbai scored through Ichara Kadli 17 points.
Earlier, Raigad Crossers scored a comfortable 45-19 (HT: 18-10) victory against Navi Mumbai Sports Striders.
