Mulund’s Kabilan G. made his club Mulund swimming pool proud as he went on to emerge best in the boys under-9 age group with four golds and a silver in the Khar Gymkhana- GMAAA one day-lower age championships held yesterday.
Kabilaan triumphed in the 50m butterfly, 50m breast stroke , 50m free style and 100 m individual medley, and the second spot in the 50 back stroke.
While Gatha from Vile Parle’s Chhatrapatti Shivaji Maharaj swimming pool, took the similar honours in the girls 9 category, Shr triunmphed winning golds in breast stroked, 50 free style, 50 butterfily . top honours in 50m breast stroke, 50m butterfly , 100m individual medley.
The various age group winners were :
BOYS: (U-9): Kabilan G (MSP) – 4 golds+ 1Silver. (U-8): Dhruv Khandwala (JVPGC) – 2Golds +2 Silver. (U-7): Arnav Pandey (PMHB)- 3 golds. (U-6): Krithvik Gowda (CSMSS)- 3 golds. (U-5): Arjun Khandwalla (JVPGC) – 4 golds.
GIRLS: (U-9): Gatha Pawar (CSMSS) – 4 golds +1bronze). . (U-8): Sharuya Kharude (MSP)- – 2Golds +2 Silver. (U-7): Dhea Parikh (JVPG)- 3 golds +1 Silver.. (U-6):Aarohi Shende (CSMSS)- 2 Gold+2 Silver +1 3 golds. (U-5): Saavi Gitaya (CSMSS) – 2 Gold 2+ Silver.
