Mumbai’s Aarya Redkar has won Gold medal in the World Table Tennis( WTT)International Youth Series Championship in the Under 15 Girls event, at Cairo, Egypt yesterday. Her father Deepak Redkar, a well known Coach in North West Mumbai, who has been the mentor of Aarya in the game of table tennis , shared this happy news on social media today.

Deepak has thanked Petroleum Sports Control Board ( PSPB) for all their efforts and support towards his daughter, which has enabled her to perform at the international level. Incidentally, this is her first Gold medal at the World Table Tennis competition. Aarya had made her debut at the age of 6 yrs, in TT at the competititive level, during a Local tournament at Borivali, Mumbai . At that time she invited all the attention, as she had defeated many good players.
Aarya is one more promising Teenager from Mumbai after Divyanshi Bhowmick, who has made her presence felt at the WTT International level. Mgzmumbai wishes her all the best.
