Nagpur enter the final in U-17 Boys; Satara in U-13 Boys final

The Junior State Championship and Selection Trials Indoor Cricket Tournament, recognised by the Maha Indoor Cricket Association and well organised by the Jalgaon Indoor Cricket Association, has reached an exciting stage. In the Under-17 Boys category, Nagpur defeated hosts Jalgaon 89-50 by 39 runs to enter the final. In the Under-13 Boys category, Satara defeated Jalgaon by just 4 runs, 31-27, to enter the final. Meanwhile, in the Under-15 Boys category, Jalgaon ‘A’ defeated Beed 68-36 by 32 runs and secured their place in the semi-finals.

Nagpur dominate Jalgaon by 39 runs

In the Under-17 Boys semi-final, Nagpur defeated hosts Jalgaon 89-50 by 39 runs and entered the final in style. The score of 89 runs was the highest team score of the tournament so far. Nagpur started strongly and kept pressure on Jalgaon throughout the match. Naitik Bala played an excellent all-round game, scoring 20 runs and taking 2 wicketsTufel Khan contributed 12 runs and 1 wicket, while Manas Kanojia scored 12 runs. For Jalgaon, Mitansh Mandhan fought hard and scored 19 runs while taking 1 wicket. However, he did not get enough support from the other batsmen, and Jalgaon could manage only 50 runs.

Jalgaon ‘A’ continue their strong run

In the Under-15 Boys category, Jalgaon ‘A’ defeated Beed 68-36 by 32 runs and secured their place in the semi-finals. Jalgaon ‘A’ have been in excellent form and won all their group matches comfortably. Their strong performance has made them one of the leading contenders for the championship. Aryan Ajmera played an important role with 18 runs and 1 wicket, while Shreyas Vyas scored 13 runs and took 2 wicketsAditya Ahire and Tanmay Patil also made valuable contributions to the team’s victory. For Beed, Viraj Shukla scored 14 runs and Arsh Inamdar scored 10 runs, but they could not get enough support from their teammates.

Satara win a thrilling four-run battle

The Under-13 Boys match between Satara and Jalgaon was a very close contest. Satara defeated Jalgaon 31-27 by just 4 runs and entered the final. Varad Bhosale scored 10 runs and took 2 wickets, while Viraj Raut contributed 5 runs and 2 wickets. Their all-round performance helped Satara win the closely fought match. For Jalgaon, Shreyash scored 8 runs and took 1 wicket. He fought hard for his team, but could not take Jalgaon across the winning line.
