Reliance Foundation Young Champs scored at the death to snatch a narrow 1-0 win against Millat FC in a well-contested Premier Division match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2023-2024 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Friday.
Striker Lalmuanpuia S. scored the all-important winning goal in the fourth minute of additional period to give his team a fighting win and sink Millat FC hearts.
Meanwhile, Central Bank of India scored a late equalizer to hold Reserve Bank of India to a 1-1 draw in a Premier Division (Corporate) match played at the St. Pius College ground, Goregaon.
Hafiz Shaikh scored the first goal of the match in the 57th minute to give Reserve Bank a slender lead, before a determined Central Bank of India managed to hit the target through Rithik Chand in stoppage time to clinch a honourable draw and a division of two points.
