Sreeja Akula who is leading Indian Women’s team at the ongoing 22nd Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship, being held in New Delhi; won both her singles to take Indian Women’s team into finals of Women’s team event. Indian women won the semi finals 3-1 against England. The other singles match was won by Syndrela Das. The only match India lost was that of in form Yashaswini Ghorpde. In the finals to be played today at 2 pm. They will meet Malaysia.

Our Indian Men’s team comprising of Manush Shah, Manav Thakkar & Harmeet Desai also put up a good show winning all their singles matches to defeat England 3-0. In the finals to be played at 4 pm, they will also meet Malaysia, who have also entered in both the finals.
