Top seed Soham Pathak brooked little opposition from second seed Shubham Pal clinching a well-deserved 15-5, 15-9 win in the Men’s singles final of the Mumbai Suburban District Championship & Selection Tournament 2026, organised by Goregaon Sports Club in association with the Badminton Association for Mumbai Upnagar and played at the Goregaon Sports Club on Sunday.

In the Women’s singles final, the number one seed Ketaki Thite got the better of second seed Myra Oak carving out a 15-11, 15-11 victory.
Number one seed Pratim Manihar bagged the Boys U-17 singles title defeating challenger Jayden Noronha 15-13, 7-15, 15-11 to emerge champion.
The Girls U-17 final witnessed a keen tussle for supremacy before Spurha Joshi managed to overcome Gargi Dabholkar 17-15, 13-15, 15-7 to seal her triumph.
