Thane Pronets and South Mumbai Maniacs emerged champions winning the Boys’ and Girls’ U-13 titles respectively in the Olympia Sports & Events organised 1st Basketball Development League (BDL), Mumbai edition and played at the VIBGYOR High School courts, Goregaon, West on Monday.

In the Boys final, Thane Pronets comfortably defeated ND Sparks 85-59 (HT: 45-29). Giaan B. 50 points and Param C. 18 points fashioned Thane Pronets triumph. Raigad Crossers scored through Salman Shaikh 34 points.
Earlier, in the Girls’ final, South Mumbai Maniacs prevailed over ND Sparks 54-37 (HT: 32-13). For South Mumbai Narayani 18 points, Tisha 18 points and Ichara Kadli 10 points were responsible for the victory. ND Sparks got their points through Saisha Choudhary 16 points and Pavi Rekhani 12 points.
