15 year old Divyanshi Bhowmick from Mumbai has created another record, with her memorable performance, at Prishtina in Kosova,when she turned the youngest Indian Table Tennis player to win the WTT Feeder Women’s Singles title. In the finals, Divyanshi beat ChineseTaipei’s Yeh Yi Tian( Ranked 38) 8-11, 11-8, 11-5, 7-11, 11-7 to emerge the winner.

With this achievement, she becomes only the second girl from the world to do so. The other being Japan’s Miwa Harimoto, who had also won this WTT Feeder Crown. Divyanshi has now moved up from 211th spot to 125th in trhe Women’s event in the world. In the Girls section, Divyanshi is already among the first 15, with 10th rank in the world, as on today.
After winning the Womens Singles crown, Divyanshi alongwith another Indian teenager Syndrela Das, bagged the doubles crown defeating Japan’s Sachi Aoki & Cocona Muramatsu 7-11, 14-12, 12-14, 11-8, 11-7.
