Indian athletes fight hard at Asian Games

When countries like Hongkong, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Korea, Japan and China have bagged Gold medals ranging from 2 to 23, India is yet to win a Gold at the end of the second day of the Asian Games at Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. But, there is big hope for India from team events like Kabaddi, Cricket, Badminton, Table –Tennis and Hockey, where the team members are displaying required team spirit and are fighting hard to win Gold for their country.

In the individual events, many of  which are yet to begin, we have a big list of probable athletes to win Gold. So far, Indians have won 4 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. So, all eyes from India will be on day 3, which is expected to register India’s first Gold.

Today’s best performers were Suchika Tariyal, who won a bronze in women’s traditional 60 kg mixed martial arts event and Himanshu Dhillon, Rudraksha Patil and Rakesh Mane who won silver medal in the men’s 10 mt rifle shooting team event; besides Himanshu and Rudraksha winning a Silver and a Bronze resp in the individual event.
