Ramchandra Badminton Tournament 2026
An overwhelming number of 360 entries have been received for the Yonex Sunrise Manoj Ramchandra Memorial State Open Badminton Tournament 2026, organised under the auspices of the Badminton Federation of India and the Maharashtra Badminton Association from Match 26, 2026. The tournament is being conducted by the North Indian Association & Padukone Shuttlers’ Academy, Mumbai.
The tournament will be conducted in Men’s & Women’s singles, Boys’ & Girls’ U-15, and Boys’ & Girls’ U-11 categories. The matches will be played at the North Indian Association and Matunga Gymkhana courts.
The Men’s & Women’s will be competing for the winners’ cash award of Rs 41,000 each, while the runner-up will get a prize of Rs 31,000 each. The third and fourth place winners will get Rs 21,000 and Rs 11,000 respectively.
The prizes from the Boys’ and Girls’ Under-15 singles category is Rs 8,500 for the winners, runner-up Rs 5,500 and the third place winners will receive Rs 3,500. The prizes for the Under-15 category is sponsored by Sandeep Thacker in memory of his late son, Nihar Thacker.
The winners in Boys’ and Girls’ Under-11 singles events will take home a cash prize of Rs 6,000 each while the runner-ups and third place winner will get Rs 4,000 and Rs 2,500 each.
