ND Bhyander combined well to easily defeat Navi Mumbai Sports Riders 44-27 (HT: 14-14) in a Girls’ U-13 match of the Olympia Sports & Events organised 1st Basketball Development League (BDL), Mumbai edition and played at the VIBGYOR High School courts, Goregaon, West on Tuesday.

The BDL is conducted under the auspices of the North Mumbai District Basketball Association (NMDBA).
For the Bhyander girls, the leading scorer was Saisha Choudhary with 16 points, while Eva More contributed 11 points to take the team home. The top scorer for Navi Mumbai was Ria Jia with 11 points and Maavya Doshi eight points.
In another match, R.R. Nova got the better of South Mumbai Maniacs 33-27. Keerat K. 15 points led from the front for Nova, while Ichara Kadli 8 points and Gargi Mohite 6 points scored for the losing side.
