Leading from the front ace sharp shooter Salman Shaikh consistently found the hoop scoring a high 31 points in steering Raigad Crossers to a convincing 63-32 (HT: 25-21) victory against Pune Global Sports in a Boys’ U-13 match of the Olympia Sports & Events organised 1st Basketball Development League (BDL), Mumbai edition and played at the VIBGYOR High School courts, Goregaon, West on Monday.

The BDL is conducted under the auspices of the North Mumbai District Basketball Association (NMDBA) and the Maharashtra State Basketball Association (MSBA).
Salman’s teammates Ibrahim K. 12 points and Javvir Lakhotia 11 points made useful contributions. For Pune Global Sports the top scorers were Umar Qureshi 13 points and Vedant Kadam 11 points.
Later, ND Bhyander narrowly defeated Raigad Crossers 35-30 (HT: 14-8) in a Girls’ encounter.
