Prisha Margaj, playing with the white pieces, made a positive start defeating AFM Viaan Kamdar to open her account 1-0 in the opening round of the All India Chess Master (Season 3) and played at the Mumbai Chess Centre, Pedder Road on Saturday.

Tanuj Dayal all having the advantage of playing with the white got the better of Anant Maheshwari to seal his first win. Deepak Soni also made a great start as he got the better of AFM Mikhail Vikram Vora to pick up his first point.
